Author David Beesley visited school to talk to the children about being an author and about the character he has created called Cracker.
The children from Nursery to Year 2 were visited by David who talked about being an author and read the children his book, 'The Adventures of Cracker the fearless Alpaca'. One of our pupils wrote to David's publisher to see if any authors would like to visit school and David answered the call! Well done to our very proactive Year 6 pupil. We hope his visit will have inspired our younger readers and writers! David may well return later in the year to visit one of our book fairs. Thank you to all the parents who bought a book - David was on hand to sign copies of the books purchased.
