Extra Curricular Sports & Clubs

Extra Curricular Sports and Clubs

We believe that sport is an important contributor to a pupil’s physical and emotional health, builds individual and cooperative skills as well as team spirit. The PE programme in school aims to provide a safe, caring environment in which all children, irrespective of their physical ability can learn effectively through physical activities. In addition the school offers many before, during and after school sporting opportunities (see attached file below for more details), often these activities are of a competitive nature. We encourage all our children to demonstrate good sporting manners. As well as after school sport, we offer a wide menu of additional activities to cater for other interests and areas of the curriculum.

Disadvantaged Pupils

To ensure equality for all, we want to ensure that financial constraints are not a barrier for disadvantaged pupils. Therefore if your child qualifies for Pupil Premium ie: eligible for free school meals, looked-after and previously looked after children or children of those serving in the armed forces, you will have an opportunity to book a place for your child at zero cost.
