Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
Our school ethos values the individuality of all our children. We are committed to giving all our children every opportunity to achieve the highest standards. St. Mary's School caters for all pupils including those who have been identified as having Special Educational Need or Disability (SEND). The teaching and learning in our school is inclusive and provides for a variety needs. Children's stages of development are carefully tracked and regular meetings between teaching staff ensure appropriate support and strategies are in place to enable all children to make progress.
Where the school believes a child’s needs cannot be met by conventional classroom provision, the school will follow the SEND Code of Practice.
