Our School Council meets regularly with school staff to discuss school issues.
School Council holds meetings and gathers opinions from the whole school. The membership and Officers are drawn largely from the older pupils in school. The Council has a Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, Infant Link Officer and representatives from classes.
One of the things we’ve done to make our school a better place is to make the 'Golden Choices'. These are a list of choices we have agreed so we all understand how we should behave around our school. Our Golden Choices are talked about weekly in worship time, displayed around school and often the basis of the rewards we receive.
We are also now a Fair Trade school. As a council we worked hard to achieve the award by selling rice as part of the 90kg rice challenge to support Malawian farmers; changing some of our lessons to include Fair Trade issues and raising awareness in our community.
We help to make the school a better place by making suggestions to improve lunchtimes, school dinners, behaviour and after school clubs.
We always come up with ideas to organise events in school to raise money for charities.
Every year we attend Trafford's 'Let's Talk Primary' conference where we share ideas with children from across the Trafford.
